FUEL ADDITIVE FOR DIESEL

The most effective way to use FUELKLEEN is as part of a regular a fuel maintenance program, where FUELKLEEN is added to each fuel tank of Petrol, Diesel or Bio Fuel.

The principal benefits of using FUELKLEEN fuel additive for diesel regularly are:

• Bacterial and fungal infestation is prevented
• Through cleaner combustion, engine service life is extended
• Maintenance costs are reduced eg. Filters, etc last longer

Fungi and bacteria cannot become immune to FUELKLEEN fuel conditioner, as this treatment removes water from the fuel and without water the “bug” cannot survive.
FUELKLEEN is NOT oil based and consequently is very effective in removing water. Due to its superior water removing properties FUELKLEEN is able to remove the environment that Diesel bug use to survive and thrive.

The normal dose rate for FUELKLEEN fuel additive for diesel engines or petrol is 1:4000
I.e. 25 liters of FUELKLEEN treats 100,000 liters of petrol or diesel fuel.

In the case of a heavily contaminated system an initial double dose may be required in the affected vehicle only. There is a chance in these circumstances that mechanical damage has already been done and the best result may be achieved by repairing the system and commencing a treatment program at the same time.

The increased initial dose rate enables a “purge” clean to be done. There may be an initial increase in emissions and filters may get clogged with buildup from within the tank, which will quickly settle down to a level significantly less than the original readings. The surfactants in Fuelkleen stops the emissions returning to their original levels.
